If you missed BIG BAD WOLVES at Fantastic Fest, don’t fret. The film that Quentin Tarantino calls the best of 2013 is making its way back to theaters soon, giving audiences an extra opportunity to catch this unbelievable gem. From the writer/directors of RABIES, Aharon Keshales and Navot Papushado, comes a new thrilling narrative that will keep you guessing until the credits roll.
After Gidi loses his only daughter to a murdering pedophile, he seeks revenge on the person he suspects to be the killer. Whether or not this newfound hostage has actually committed these crimes is unknown, but this father has decided that he will literally beat the truth out of him. This moving tale of tragedy and revenge makes the audience question its own morality, as it is unclear whether or not these horrid accusations have any truth to them at all. As the film goes on, it becomes more and more difficult to choose a side, between the grieving parent, and the supposed murderer who undergoes the punishment that he may actually not deserve.
If you live near Dallas, Texas, make sure to see BIG BAD WOLVES when it plays this Friday, January 31st, at the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff! If you don’t live in the area, check Magnet Releasing’s website to see how you can see the film in your town.
