While visiting Los Angeles last week, I stopped by the Hyaena Gallery in Burbank. I was exhausted from looking at apartments all day long, but the minute I walked into the gallery, I felt a sense of elation, like all of my sleep deprivation had been wiped away. Not only was I surrounded by beautifully odd, unique art pieces, but I got the chance to check out the John Carpenter exhibit that I had read about several times before I entered the shop. I had been looking forward to visiting the gallery for some time, and I can honestly say that I was not the least bit disappointed. If you’re in the Burbank area, make sure to stop and check out this wonderful little spot. I took a few photos while I was visiting, and decided to go ahead and share my experience. Scroll on, and see what imaginative creations filled the walls of the Hyaena Gallery for director John Carpenter’s exhibit, the master behind such classics as HALLOWEEN, THEY LIVE, ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK, PRINCE OF DARKNESS, THE THING, and more!
