On Sunday night, I attended the Goblin concert at the Texas Theatre in Oak Cliff. Since I’ll be moving out of Texas soon, I’m sad to say that I won’t be able to go to the Texas Theatre, one of my favorite theaters in the whole state, as often as I would like anymore. However, I can’t think of a better way to say goodbye (at least for now) than by seeing one of the greatest rock bands to ever exist, Goblin. If you’ve ever watched the Italian horror movie SUSPIRIA, or DEEP RED, by one of the masters of horror, director Dario Argento, then you’ve been lucky enough to listen to the band Goblin. Goblin has worked with Argento several times, and even director George A. Romero on his piece DAWN OF THE DEAD as well. Despite the fact that it’s been several years since these movies were released, Goblin proved to me on Sunday night that they can still rock a show as hard as they did back in the day. The evening was magical, to say the least, and as much as I wish I could have shared the experience itself with all who care to listen, these photos will have to suffice. Enjoy!!
